Saigon Lunch Lady

Henry and I share a mutual love of food and travel so naturally we both think Anthony Bourdain is fantastic. The Saigon episode from a few years ago featured the “Lunch Lady.” Since our travels revolve around food, we went looking for her. We went on a Saturday and the dish that day was Banh Canh, a type of noodle from Nha Trang. The soup looked simple but the flavors were complex. We didn’t really know how much each item costs and we’re convinced that we were charged more than the locals but we didn’t care at all because it was so delicious.
